I have read all of Terri Blackstock's books and have enjoyed all of them. Her mystery books are all but impossible to put down, and this one does not disappoint in this area! I never guessed for a moment who the true "guilty" person was. The book also shows how God is always with us, even in those times where it just doesn't "feel" like He is. A great book, I highly recommend it. I would recommend reading the first book in this series, "Private Justice", before reading this one.

It was just as good as the first book. It had so many unusual twists and religous truths. It was wonderfully written and I tip my hat to Terri for a job well done.

Rating: 5 (Fast moving plot, well developed characters, interesting set.)

The cultural setting for this book sets the stage for the fast moving drama. The characters' well developed personalities let the reader experience the feelings and reactions to the suspense and relief. The Christian point of view and God's overall dominion is very encouraging. Good reading for anyone who has ever been dissapointed or faced an unfair circumstance. The Afterword is very worthwhile reading.
